Examples
Vidim sestru. (Видим сестру.)
— I see a sister.
Imam knjigu. (Имам књигу.)
— I have a book.
Volim mamu i tatu. (Волим маму и тату.)
— I love mom and dad (!).
Jedem jabuku. (Једем јабуку.)
— I eat an apple (!).
Feminine Nouns Ending in Consonants
For these, the accusative stays the same as the nominative (no change):
Volim ljubav. (Волим љубав.)
— I love love.
Vidim noć. (Видим ноћ.)
— I see night.
Imam stvar. (Имам ствар.)
— I have a thing.
